- 1 cup Sushi rice Cooked and seasoned with vinegar
- 2 Nori sheets
- 4 oz Salmon Sashimi grade
- 0.5 Avocado Sliced
- 2 oz Cream cheese
- 1 Jalapeño thinly sliced
- 1 cup Tempura batter Or substitute with egg + panko
- As needed Oil for frying
Prepare sushi rice and season it with rice vinegar and sugar.
Lay a sheet of nori on your bamboo mat. Spread a thin, even layer of rice over the nori.
Add salmon, avocado, cream cheese, and optional jalapeño in the center.
Roll the sushi tightly using the bamboo mat.
Dip the entire roll in tempura batter (or coat in egg wash and panko).
Deep fry the roll in hot oil until golden (about 1–2 minutes per side).
Let rest for 5 minutes, then slice into bite-sized pieces with a sharp knife.
